Kate Hudson spotted on the set of an untitled basketball comedy series in a revealing look

Kate Hudson was spotted on set of Mindy Kaling’s untitled Netflix basketball series on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

In the 10-episode comedy, Hudson, 44, plays the owner of the fictional Los Angeles Waves basketball team, who is forced to prove herself ‘in the male-dominated world of sports’ after taking over the franchise from her brother.

The actress was seen in between takes drinking a bottle of Perrier and looking over her lines.

Hudson looked to be wearing light makeup and her blonde hair was styled in loose waves.

As for her outfit, the mother-of-three was dressed in ‘Waves’ T-shirt, baggy pink pants and brown UGG slippers.

Along with starring in the show, Hudson is also listed as an executive producer with Mindy.

Production on the sports comedy kicked off last month — over two years after it was ordered by Netflix.

‘When a scandal forces her brother to resign, Isla Gordon (Hudson) is appointed President of the Los Angeles Waves,

one of the most storied professional basketball franchises, and her family business,’ the official synopsis reads, according to Variety.

‘Ambitious and often overlooked, Isla will have to prove to her skeptical brothers, the board, and the larger sports community that she was the right choice for the job, especially in the unpredictable, male-dominated world of sports.’

The miniseries is inspired by Los Angeles Lakers boss Jeanie Buss.

It will also star Disney Channel alum Brenda Song and Chet Hanks.

According to Deadline, Chet — who is the son of Oscar winner Tom Hanks and singer Rita Wilson — plays Waves’ point guard and aspiring rapper Travis Bugg.

Mindy co-wrote the script with Ike Barinholtz and David Stassen, who will also serve as showrunner for the 10-episode project.
