On July 19, a new teaser for Colleen Hoover’s It Ends With Us was unveiled. In the movie, the former Gossip Girl exhibits a range of emotions as she plays her florist character.
Fans get to see Lily’s first encounter with whirlwind love Ryle Kincaid (played by Justin Baldoni) in the action-packed teaser, when he stumbles upon her hanging out on a rooftop at night and asks for her name.
In the couple’s enticing bedroom scene that follows, their chemistry is much more evident, if it wasn’t already.
But in the teaser, Blake isn’t the only actor that appears alongside Justin, who also helmed the love drama.
The Simple Favor actor and Brandon Sklenar, who portrays Atlas Corrigan, a former romantic interest of hers, have a touching sequence in which she finds herself torn between the two men in a tense standoff.
The latest trailer for It Ends With Us is the second look at the screenplay, which was written by Christy Hall.
A trailer for the film, which included Taylor Swift’s heartbreaking song «My Tears Ricochet» as the soundtrack, debuted online in May, giving fans their first taste of the film.
The author of the novel is among many who are really excited about how the story was adapted for the screen as the movie’s August 9 release date approaches.
According to Colleen, who also served as the film’s executive producer, «everyone involved has been so dedicated about making this adaptation as faithful and heartfelt as possible,»
as she stated in an April 30 interview with people. «It’s been a true team effort.»
