Mom is Jennifer Garner’s favorite pen name.
After all, the 13 Going on 30 actresses always has her ex-partner Ben Affleck’s children, Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, in mind.
She said to Today Parents, «Once I had kids, I started asking myself, ‘How do I want to spend my time?'» «‘How do I want to make what little impact I can on the world?'»

Garner also says she will «try to be the best version of myself and to have faith that they’re watching me as carefully when I do something right as they do when I roll through a stop sign.»
This includes fighting for other children and accepting meaningful movie parts.
«I give it all I can,» she continued.
In fact, after ten years of marriage, Garner and Affleck decided to «go forward with love and friendship» as co-parents of their children when they called it quits in 2015.

According to the Alias alum, «No one needs to hate him for me,» she said in a 2016 Vanity Fair interview. «I don’t hate him.»
Garner and 51-year-old Affleck have maintained a cordial relationship over time. Her heartfelt homage to the Justice League actor was written in 2023, in which she expressed that «no one loves their kids like you love ours.»
She also said, «Shout out to BGA,» at the time. «Happy Father’s Day, Ben!»

And when they got together to celebrate Samuel’s graduation with Ben’s wife Jennifer Lopez and the singer’s 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex Marc Anthony,
