Taylor Swift was carried off stage in a freak arena glitch that sent fans into paոic

Taylor Swift was removed from the stage during a glitch in her Eras Tour concert.

The 30-year-old singer was performing in Dublin at the Aviva Stadium as she sang The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived while standing on top of a large raised platform.

However, things went wrong when the star quickly realised the lift wouldn’t lower her down.

One of her dancers was forced to come over and help the chart-topping singer down from the podium, and a video of the incident has been circulating the internet.

Over on X/Twitter, one fan posted a video of the whole ordeal and captioned it: “Jan helping Taylor after the stage malfunction before TSMWEL! Taylor reacted so fast, I would be standing there like man emoji.”

Down in the comments, people asked if “the stage froze” and whether Swift had planned the entire fiasco. Another person confessed: “I def nicely would’ve panicked, jumped down and twisted an ankle with those heels and broken my ankle.”

“Matching to the song, this is so poetic, IDK why…” typed another Swiftie as someone else chimed in with: “I think this is the obvious thing to do lol, but also everyone has in-ears and can be communicated with if necessary.”

More people branded the dancer, who some have identified as “Jan,” a “hero,” a “pumpkin” and an “MVP” for helping her down off the platform.

“Stage performers are supposed to be able to adapt to any malfunction at the moment. ‘The show must go on’.

Someone even gushed that the gesture was “sweet” as another Swift fan called him “nice” for assisting the singer.

For her performance of TSMWEL, Taylor wore a large white ball gown with a corset style bodice and a skirt that billowed out from underneath her.
