However, as the French capital geared up for the huge spectacle, Sydney was seen wowing her fans with her antics.
Uploading a series of snaps to her Instagram account, Sweeney shared a number of beautiful moments of her trip to Paris.
This included one racy snap where she appeared to be kissing the Eiffel Tower, with the actress showing off her cleavage in a plunging black top.
She also beamed in the sunlight as she placed a kiss on the iconic landmark in the background, as she donned a tinted pair of back sunglasses.
This contrasted perfectly with her stunningly curled blonde locks that flowed down to the top of her back.
Other snaps from the trip included Sydney taking a stroll down the iconic streets of Paris, radiating brightness with a vibrant white frock, and a pair of thin white heels.
She paired the bright ensemble with a splash of colour as she donned a vibrant red handbag that dangled from her left shoulder.
Sydney revealed that the trip was in part thanks to an ad campaign for the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, which was recently released.
She plugged the phone on several occasions in the carousel, including when she spoke in English to a shopkeeper, but it translated to French so they could understand.
