Selena Gomez has addressed rumors that, in her younger years, she would not have wed Blanco
Like a love ballad, Selena Gomez is genuinely infatuated with Benny Blanco.
The vocalist of «Come and Get It Singer» answered a fan who inquired about her connection to the record producer.
A fan commented, «I know and so do you that at the time she would never have gotten engaged to Benny,» next to a clip of Selena from her earlier years on a June 3 TikTok. «She was in her IT GIRL era.»
In contrast, Selena remarks, «Kinda makes me laugh because I was so depressed back then lol,» about that time in her life.
Supporters of the 32-year-old instantly jumped to her rescue, with one writing, «Benny treats her like a queen.»
«People who hate on the relationship gotta get over it,» a second fan said. She is at her happiest point in her life.»
And Selena has continued to express that sentiment ever since she and Benny revealed their romance to the public in December.

Selena said, «He’s still better than anyone I’ve ever been with,» while acknowledging that she’s at her «happiest» right now.
