Kate Hudson, like her well-known co-star, admits that she never wears deodorant
Kate Hudson has dropped a bombshell that she’s ditched deodorant, just like her famous co-star.
The Hollywood beauty has gone au naturel, just like her ‘Fool’s Gold’ co-star Matthew McConaughey.
The 45-year-old actress spilled the beans on an episode of ‘Watch What Happens Live’, revealing her and Matthew’s shared preference for going au naturel when it comes to body scent.
She dished out the details, saying: «No! He doesn’t wear deodorant. And by the way, I don’t either … We’re au naturel, you know?»
Kate also mentioned how Matthew’s natural odour was unmistakable during their time filming together: «My thing was that I could smell him from a mile [away] because we were so close.»
Matthew himself is no stranger to this revelation, having previously confessed to Maxim magazine his aversion to artificial scents: «I just never wore it.
No cologne, no deodorant. The women in my life, including my mother, have all said: ‘Hey, your natural smell smells, one, like a man, and, two, smells like you’.»
In a candid chat with Playboy, Matthew recounted how Kate would bring a natural deodorant to the set, urging him to use it:
«She always brings a salt rock, which is some natural deodorant, and says, ‘Would you please put this on? ‘ I just never wore it. No cologne, no deodorant.»
Despite his lack of deodorant use, Matthew insists he’s not skimping on cleanliness, claiming he showers several times daily and brushes his teeth up to five times.
Even Yvette Nicole Brown, who starred alongside Matthew in ‘Tropic Thunder’, vouched for him, saying he doesn’t have an offensive smell despite his choice to skip deodorant.
