Focusing on her children and career, Angelina Jolie is happy with her life
What a year Angelina Jolie is having.
The Oscar-winning actress has returned from an amazing night at the 2024 Tony Awards, where her new Broadway production, The Outsiders, took home several honors, including the best new musical.
For Jolie, 49, the production is a family affair, as her 15-year-old daughter Vivienne helped with production as well as serving as co-producer on the musical.
«Angie appears to be extremely happy and satisfied with her life,» a close Jolie source tells PEOPLE. Her priorities are her children and her job. She works on initiatives about which she is genuinely enthusiastic and invested.»
The insider continues, «She’s very proud of her kids.» Jolie, who also has boys Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, and Knox, 15, with her ex-partner Brad Pitt, as well as daughters Zahara, 19, and Shiloh, 18.

After seeing the musical’s world premiere in California, Vivienne’s mother was inspired by her to become The Outsiders’ primary producer, according to a PEOPLE article published in August 2023.
«She’ll correct me,» Jolie later admitted to PEOPLE, referring to Vivienne’s skill as a theater producer, during the show’s April New York City debut.
«She will ask, ‘Have you not read the memo? This is something we must do. We must experience this.'»
«She’s been a really tough assistant,» the actress from Girl, Interrupted said after giving birth to her kid. «She takes it very, very seriously.»
On May 30, Jolie and Vivienne went out together in Los Angeles for the Reefer Madness: The Musical premiere. On the red carpet, the couple could be seen standing with Jolie’s pal Kristen Bell, who is a producer of the new show.
