Dakota Johnson wears a cap, sunglasses and a beige coat while filming the film
Dakota Johnson was spotted working on the set of her upcoming comedy Materialists on Friday in New York City.
The 34-year-old longtime actress is filming the new flick with co-stars Pedro Pascal and Chris Evans.
Johnson sported a black New York Mets baseball cap and a beige jacket with dark pants at one point.
During another moment, she switched to white denim trousers with frayed hems, and she wore brown Nike Cortez sneakers with both variations.
The siren’s long brunette hair streamed out from underneath her hat, and she wore dark, rectangular sunglasses.
She was visited by her older half-brother Jesse Johnson, 41, who was seen strolling beside the actress during a break in production.
Development on Materialists was revealed in February, when it was announced that the project would be directed by Celine Song.
Song has been lauded for her work on the romantic drama Past Lives, which came out in 2023.
In addition to directing the upcoming feature, she also wrote the screenplay.
According to Deadline, Materialists follows a matchmaker who balances her relationship with a wealthy man with her lingering feelings for her waiter-actor ex-boyfriend.
News that Johnson, Pascal and Evans signed on to star in the movie was announced in February.
The cast also includes Marin Ireland, Zoe Winters and Dasha Nekrasova.
Filming began in the Big Apple in April.
Materialists, which is an A24 production, does not yet have a release date.
