Cindy Crawford said she would never collaborate with the designer again and apologized to him
Cindy Crawford has clarified her remarks regarding Greek fashion designer Vassilios Kostetsos that she made earlier.
The 58-year-old supermodel was participating in a game of «Plead the Fifth» on a Wednesday, July 24, broadcast of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live. In this game, host Andy Cohen asks three questions and lets the guest pass on only one.

To start the game, Cohen asked Crawford to select a designer that she «hopes to never work with again.»
The model answered, «I’ve really only worked with good ones,» to which Cohen, 56, responded, «You can plead the fifth.»
«No, I know this game,» Crawford retorted. «If I plead the fifth on this one, it’s gonna get nastier.”
The Meaningful Beauty founder eventually named Vassilios Kostetsos, “a swimsuit designer in Greece.”
“I’m just gonna go rando,” she said. “I answered it, but I didn’t upset any big designers.”

The model apologized on Instagram on Thursday, August 1, for her remarks regarding Kostetsos.
She said, «From the archive… so many fun looks walking for,» as the description for a carousel of images from her earlier collaboration with Kostetos. «Apologies for the confusion; I suppose I give in easily! You know if you know. Huge kisses being sent.»
The post included old-school pictures of Crawford from the runway along with photographs of the model posing with the designer.
Crawford also mentioned Austin Butler, the boyfriend of her daughter Kaia Gerber, in the «Plead the Fifth» section. At the 2022 Elvis biography filming, Cohen asked the model what she thought of Butler’s «never-ending» accent.

«That seems like Austin to me,» Crawford retorted.
She went on, «I didn’t know that he was from Anaheim,» alluding to Butler’s 32 years of Californian upbringing.
Crawford went on, «I think it just stuck because he was Elvis for so long.» «I haven’t heard of him… Like, before Elvis, I didn’t know him. To me, that solely applies to Austin.
Notably, Butler—who had initially raised romance rumors with Gerber in December 2021—kept his Memphis-style dialect long after the filming for the Baz Luhrmann-helmed picture was over.
