The former cast member of Ugly Betty debuted the ensemble on the red carpet for her film Dance With Me in August 1998.
She wore a delicate gold necklace and stiletto shoes as accessories at the time. Her lengthy hair was also pinned back by her.
Williams chose to wear her hair in a long bob on Friday. Williams accessorized the dress with matching jewelry and golden heels to accentuate its exquisite floral appliqués.
Social media fans of Williams, who portrayed Chayanne in the movie, expressed amazement.
Fashion designer and stylist Phillip Bloch gushed, «Always the chicest and the most beautiful inside and out 😍.» in a comment.
«Werk!» was Laverne Cox’s response when Julianne Hough called «icon» Williams «perfect.»

Having won the title of the first African-American Miss America in 1984, Williams has no fear of getting older.
