One year after divorcing her second husband, Jim Toth, Reese Witherspoon was spotted in New York City last week with Oliver Haarmann, a private equity financier. It looks like Witherspoon is dating someone new.
It is exclusively revealed by DailyMail.com that Reese, 48, has been spotted out on dates with Haarman, 56, whose ex-wife, entrepreneur Mala Gaonkar, 54, is currently seeing artist David Byrne, 72.
Before heading to a dinner date with Haarmann, who was dressed in blue pants and a white shirt, Reese looked stylish in an SUV.
It was their second sighting together this week, and they appeared to be in high spirits as they conversed during the day.
On Sunday, they were also spotted traveling together to a heliport before reaching an apartment complex.
How serious their connection is is unknown. Reese’s agent has been approached by DailyMail.com for comment.
German-born Haarmann is one of the founding partners of the private equity investment firm Searchlight Capital Partners.
Prior to this, he worked as a senior partner at the international investment firm KKR & Co. He and Gaonkar have two sons together.
He graduated from NYC’s Brown University with a bachelor’s degree in history and international relations in 1990, and Harvard Business School awarded him an MBA in 1996.
After nearly 12 years of marriage, the Morning Show actress and her 54-year-old ex-husband startled fans in March 2023 by announcing their separation and impending divorce.
A week after announcing the dissolution of their marriage, in April 2023, the actress formally filed for divorce from Toth. In the court documents, she stated that their separation was due to irreconcilable disagreements.
In 2010, Reese and her ex-husband Jim initially began romantically involved, and in December of the same year, they were engaged.
